Terms of Reference for WEESMS Project Branding Consultancy

Project Background
The Women’s Economic Empowerment
through Strengthening Market Systems (WEESMS) project aims to provide
greater opportunities for women to access the labor market. The
initiative will focus on increasing women’s opportunities for economic
participation and decision-making through improved access to productive
employment options with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) led by
women entrepreneurs.
The project identifies three major
pathways to sustained women’s participation in the labor market: (1)
increasing the number of women entrepreneurs and women-led/ owned
businesses (SMEs); (2) improving the ability of women to access formal
or informal employment opportunities; and, (3) increasing retention
rates of existing women in the labor market in existing enterprises or
organizations.
Objective of the Assignment
The objective of the assignment is to
design an innovative and consistent image for the WEESMS project for
maximum visibility and branding.
The assignment is to prepare a
comprehensive branding and visual identity guidelines for the WEESMS
project. This includes, but not limited to, the following items:
- Develop Brand Architecture (Printed materials and electronic media)
- Design a new project Logo
- Develop a project Tagline
- Design Elements of Stationaries
- Prepare Style Guide
- Propose Color Palette
Major Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for the following activities:
- Initial briefing and subsequent
meetings to share ideas and draft materials with the WEESMS project
team and communications focal point to share information about the
project and exchanging initial ideas on the assignment.
- Develop a comprehensive branding and visual identity guidelines, including practical tools for implementation.
- Share and present draft design options with the project team.
- Finalize the full guidelines based on the feedback form the project team.
The consultant will keep all
information about the project confidential at all stages of the
assignment and after completion.

Duration
The duration of the contract is for 5
consultancy days during 11-15 December 2016. All the deliverables of
the assignment must be completed and submitted to iDE, Bangladesh by
5pm on 15 December, 2016.
Payment and Tax deduction
The payment will be made after satisfactory submission of all the deliverables.
Government VAT and tax regulation will apply and, if applicable, VAT will be deducted at source.
Submission deadline
Interested and experienced individual
consultants/agencies may submit their Technical and Financial Proposals
separately to the following email address: bangladesh@ideglobal.org. All proposals must reach the iDE office by 4pm on 1st December 2016.
The proposals should include the following:
- Cover letter (maximum one page);
- Work plan and timeline (maximum one-page)
- Financial Proposal (maximum one-page): breakdown based on each deliverable related cost.
- Printed and/or links to examples of similar previous work
- If individuals are applying, please send CV and some examples of recent work.
- If agencies are applying, please also include:
- Company profile
- VAT Registration Certificate
- TIN Certificate
- Joint Stock Company Registration Certificate
- Trade License Certificate
